REGISTRATION FOR 2026-2027 HAS STARTED

High School REGISTRATION PROCESS

Capital Referees assigns officials to middle and high school matches in the Capital of Texas region. In order to officiate middle and high school games, you must complete the following steps.

Step 1: Register with Texas Association of Sports Officials

Step 2: Pay Your Capital Referees Dues

Step 3: Pay your $100 assigning fee deposit by December 31

Test & Training

All referees must complete the required training and test to be eligible to officiate.

In the fall, the Texas Association of Sports Officials will release the training and a test that must be completed before refereeing a regular-season game. We will email all members when the training and test are available.

Match Fees for High SChool Games

Mileage Fees from a standard center point
>31 miles: $20
31-61 miles: $35
62-90 miles: $50
91+ Miles: State mileage rate

All Matches
(30, 35, and 40 minute halves)
Referee or Dual: $80
Assistant Referee: $60
Single Center: $120
